The Cathedral Woods

This was inspired by several passages of a book by the title "The Onion Girl." It is by Charles de Lint, my favourite author of mostly likely all time. In the novel, a girl by the name of Jilly Coppercorn is finally able to transport herself into the dreaming world, or, as she calls it, the cathedral realm where all the trees are as tall as cathedral ceilings and the leaves glisten like stained glass in the sun.

I've always wanted to translate De Lint's words into images, but never possessed the skills necessary until now. Even then this is the second attempt at it, which was thankfully successful.
